Kamal Ahuja moved to London after completing his PhD studies at the University of Cambridge with Professor Sir Robert Edwards to lead the Cromwell Hospital IVF Program as its founding Scientific Director, a position he held for over 20 years.
He founded the JD Healthcare Group in 2007, which owns and operates all London Women’s Clinics in the United Kingdom, as well as the London Egg Bank and London Sperm Bank in central London. Kamal is the present Chairman of Reproductive Healthcare Ltd UK and a member of the Development Board of St John’s College Cambridge.
Wayne Caswell is the Senior Laboratory Technical Director for Donor Egg Bank USA, which is a division of Generate Life Sciences. He is in charge of the training and quality control of the oocytes that have been vitrified and warmed as part of the Egg Bank. He was a long-serving Army officer, rising to the rank of Captain. He attended the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth for his undergraduate studies and the Marine Biological Laboratories in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, for his graduate studies. Wayne has worked as the director of several IVF and Andrology labs in Boston, Maine, and New York. He was also the company’s first Technical Application Scientist, where he established himself as a pioneer in the field of human oocyte and embryo vitrification. Known for being a successful leader who consistently achieves outstanding results. Wayne has given talks on Assisted Reproduction and Cryopreservation at conferences in the United States, Europe, and South America. As part of ASRM, he also serves on the Board of Directors for the Society for Reproductive Biologists and Technologists.
