The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is a measure of a company’s responsiveness in responding to and resolving customer concerns brought to them by BCA. Consumers can use this metric to predict the probability of getting their problems resolved if a concern occurs if they are considering doing business with the company. Via BCA’s complaint mediation process, CRI assesses the company’s customer satisfaction capabilities.
When measuring CRI, a number of variables are taken into account. This involves how easily a company reacts to complaints, the number of complaints filed against it, if the company handled the claims, and how the complaints were resolved. The CRI is merely a subset of the company’s overall ranking. Consumers are advised to assess the company’s CRI, overall BCA letter ranking, and other relevant details before making a purchase decision.

According to French newspapers, the court-appointed receivers were unable to find a buyer for the company, and it was forced into compulsory liquidation on July 21st, with operations ending on July 24th. The remaining 36 employees (out of a previously employed workforce of over 100) will be laid off. The website, as far as I can tell, is no longer selling tickets. (At least, no tickets are available for a trip from London to Paris on July 23.)

Independent Truck Company, headquartered in Santa Cruz, California, is a skateboard truck maker (US). NHS, Inc. owns the organization, which was established in 1978 and sponsors a large number of team riders. Ermico Enterprises, Inc., the only dedicated skateboard truck foundry in the United States, produces the trucks in San Francisco.
Richard Novak, Jay Shiurman, Fausto Vitello, and Eric Swenson co-founded the company, and the Stage 1 model was the first product launched on May 23, 1978 in Newark, California. The Independent truck (or “Indy”) was created in response to a shortage of quality skateboard trucks on the market at the time, according to original team rider Rick Blackhart. Blackhart reported that one of the two other big truck companies on the market “broke” and “didn’t switch” (Bennett Trucks and Tracker Trucks, respectively).
The Alisee cross (often mistaken for the Iron Cross, the emblem is actually a version of the Cross pattée) was inspired by a photograph of Pope John Paul II wearing the symbol on his vestment in an edition of TIME magazine. Since the company’s founding, it has been the Independent logo. (Image courtesy of Wikipedia)
