Corporate and corporate law, energy law, and building law are some of the fields of practice. In November of 2020, Casey A. Jenkins joined the Business Team at Abrahams Kaslow & Cassman LLP. From pre-bid to project closeout, including final claims, he advises contractors, owners/developers, architects, and engineers in all phases of construction. He has 14 years of in-house experience representing owners directly, helping him to build strategies to help clients secure their profits, mitigate delays and costs, implement contract rights, and settle disputes. Casey is also well-positioned to assist vendors and subcontractors in preserving and asserting their contractual rights.
Casey has drafted and negotiated engineered equipment purchasing agreements and contracts with both owners and contractors, as well as developing risk-reduction processes and procedures and evaluating conditions to prevent and mitigate claims.
He has experience mediating construction delay lawsuits and contract disputes, including claims of inefficiency, defaults, contract default and termination, as well as investigating and defending extra work claims. Casey also has a thorough knowledge of building, engineering, and property insurance coverage, claims, and policy interpretations that apply to large-scale construction projects.

Some small but strong segments of our society have stigmatized and feared queer and single parents. The fact that the simple, normal, and caring ways in which we live our lives and build and nurture our families raise concern in those sectors does not mean that our acts are immoral or dangerous.
Since the reasons provided by the Australia Council in direct contact with me vary from those given in their public statements, I’ll start with the public line they’ve taken.
They did not say that the work was not in line with the original in their official letter to me, but rather that “ethical issues” were fundamental to their thinking. They have interestingly omitted ethics from their official statement about their decision and have told the media specifically that “ethical considerations” did not come into play, following a strident letter from me expressing dismay about the essence of their “ethical” judgments, as well as letters from others in the group. This is completely false. Their decision to withdraw their support for IMMACULATE was largely based on their inappropriate “ethical” evaluations, as their written comments to me attest. These ostensibly ethical concerns included concern for “immediate and long-term implications for the infant,” despite the fact that there is no child involved in my work. I find their ‘ethical’ viewpoint revolting; they are trampleing on more than a century of women’s liberation, gender equality, and reproductive rights to assert that I do not have the freedom and right to record and portray my body in whatever way I want simply because I have a womb and the ability to become pregnant. They are also pathologizing the life of children born from donor conception and attributing blame to them.
