Nice, but could use a little more variety and a better lunch special (17 dollars for 30 minutes of eating time maximum if you’re on lunch)

I was disappointed because it was New Year’s Eve and I had hoped that the food would have changed because I had been going to this restaurant for years. We were completely wrong. It was a disaster. We paid $78 (family of three, with a discount because we had a child) and were not impressed at all. The rice was burnt, the food was cold, and the selection was poor. For what they served, they were overpriced. The place looks the same as it did ten years ago and needs a makeover. The sign outside is torn, and we should have known not to go in after seeing that. I will never suggest this establishment and will never return. + Continue readingReportLRLindaR1 summary

Sachgeschichte – chinarose

Updated on October 23, 2020 Sorry for the inconvenience. This restaurant used to serve fantastic food, but it has since closed. We had a poor meal and gave them the benefit of the doubt, but when we returned a few weeks later, the same thing had happened. Sorry, but it had its day. Helpful? Date of visit: September 2020

On the 22nd of August, 2020, I checked it out on my phone. Rosey, Rosey, Rosey, Rosey, Rosey, Rosey, Rosey, To celebrate the first night in a new home with some friends who had recently moved into Tottington, I ordered take-out (they don’t deliver). Appetizer combo followed by a range of mains, chips, and a curry sauce that was to die for! Excellent portions. It’s a little pricey, but it’s worth it…More Date of visit: August 2020Is this information useful?

Reviewed on the 13th of August, 2020 A fantastic evening out We tried China Rose for the first time and were so impressed that we would certainly return. We ordered the four-course evening buffet and were pleasantly pleased by all we were served. It’s not every day that you get duck and pancakes… Date of visit: August 2020Is this information useful?

On the 6th of August, 2020, a takeaway was checked.
To be honest, we hadn’t been impressed with either eat-in or take-away meals in the past, but we decided to order takeout tonight on the spur of the moment. Both the Westlake Beef Soup and the Singapore Vermicelli were delicious. It’s a little more expensive, but it’s worth it…More Date of visit: August 2020Is this information useful?

Dirty dining: china house restaurant

It was really fine, but the prices aren’t worth it. I like how large the food range is, as well as the desserts.

Why chinese restaurants are closing down

Updated on May 29, 2019 Ambience and customer service are above average, and parking is plentiful. Despite the fact that the environment, parking, and customer service are all above average, the buffet food is not!
We won’t return based on their few lunch guests; a small buffet range dominated by western versions of Chinese food (think poor, clumpy, pale, and tasteless ginger beef, chicken…wings…abundant chicken ball dishes including very poor s/s chicken balls) and an excessively abundant emphasis on deep frying, as well as a general absence of authentic Chinese cuisine (think dumplings); and a general lack of authentic Chinese cuisine (think dumplings). The buffet food is just lukewarm at best.
In Calgary’s southeast, the “Asian Buffet” is a great choice for less. Better price, larger buffet with hundreds of authentic Chinese dishes, as well as sushi and Mongolian cuisine; salads, desserts, and more. With Asian customers, it seems to be always busy. and more Helpful?1 Date of visit: May 2019
