Each day of the year has a meditation written by codependents for codependents. Co-Dependents Anonymous is a men’s and women’s fellowship whose shared goal is to build healthier relationships. Only a desire for safe and loving relationships is needed for membership. We come together to embrace and share our experiences as we embark on a journey of self-discovery and learning to love ourselves. As we progress through the program, we become more frank with ourselves about our personal backgrounds and codependent behaviors. For insight and understanding, we depend on the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions. These are our program’s guiding principles for maintaining truthful and satisfying relationships with ourselves and others. We learn to each construct a bridge to a Higher Power of our own understanding in CoDA, and we encourage others to do the same. This process of regeneration is a healing gift for us. We will all experience a new sense of joy, acceptance, and serenity in our lives by voluntarily participating in the Co-Dependents Anonymous program.
