Reddit is a popular social media website. It is expected to receive 52 million visitors a day by 2020. The “Wall Street Bets” subreddit has a user base of 6 million people. Yes, the same Wall Street Bets that propelled GameStop (GME-NYSE) from $20 to nearly $500. You might argue that it was all dumb money, but the point is that technology now allows very large quantities of retail money to accumulate and concentrate! With more than a tinge of revolt flowing through their veins, a decentralized army of investors gathered behind one of their favorite stocks and attempted to “stick it to The Man,” resulting in the Mother of all short squeezes. An aggregated army of institutional investors is a massive new source of influence in the investing world.
What do you think Reddit is worth right now? According to the most recent round of investment, it is worth US$6 billion despite being a private corporation. What exactly is Reddit? Reddit is both a culture and a forum. It’s a network of cultures that isn’t centralized. Now, I’m not a huge fan of big terms. However, I believe de-centralized will be the most important investment term in 2021.

“Gas Gas Gas” is a Eurobeat song by Italian musician Manuel Karamori from 2007. It rose to popularity after being used in the soundtracks of video games and anime series based on the popular Japanese street racing manga series Initial D. The song was sampled in hundreds of video game music (VGM) remixes and parodies featuring other viral videos on YouTube in the mid-2010s.
The track was first released as part of the compilation album Super Eurobeat Volume 183 on December 26th, 2007. It was heavily inspired by Eurobeat and other uptempo styles of electronic dance music.
[two] Karamori’s song, however, remained largely unknown outside of the Eurobeat subculture until it was used in the Initial D media franchise’s soundtrack. [three]
In late 2016 and early 2017, parodies of the song became increasingly popular. For example, YouTuber parkanaur posted a CCTV video of a Russian car driving through an airport on December 23rd, 2016, which received over 2.1 million views (shown below, right). Malfoy, a YouTuber, edited a scene from the film Baby Driver with the song on August 9th, 2017, earning over 410,000 views (shown below, left).

Russian social media activists have mocked US State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert for criticizing “carousel voting” during a separatist referendum in Ukraine before revealing she had no idea what the word meant.
The business card of Ukrainian ultranationalist Dmytro Yarosh, leader of the group Right Field, was found at the scene of a deadly shootout in Slovyansk, eastern Ukraine, according to a widely circulated meme.
Eastern Ukrainians who condemn the Ukrainian army’s offensive against separatists in the east have been posting photos of themselves – or their children – carrying placards that read “Save Donbas People from Ukrainian Army.”
