Suppliers and distributors no longer laugh at companies who want to be sustainable in their production and sales, and there are an increasing number of curious and persistent consumers who want to know exactly which materials come from where and under what conditions goods are produced.
But we decided to use Global Strike Day to do just that: We wanted to have virtual and analogue discussions with everyone who was concerned about companies’ responsibilities for environmental conservation and climate change, considering together what we as an organization are already doing and can continue to do, as well as where each person can begin to get involved.

Even from bases in the continental United States, the Air Force’s nuclear and conventional precision strike forces can credibly threaten and efficiently execute global strike by putting every target on the planet at risk and, if necessary, disabling or destroying it quickly. Officers, enlisted men, and civilians in Air Force Global Strike Command will participate in a variety of programs aimed at improving their understanding and awareness of nuclear operations, as well as broadening their perspective on the task.
“Our program’s mission is to build potential nuclear enterprise leaders through educational and experiential opportunities that concentrate on Air Force nuclear enterprise programming and procurement strategies, future long-range strike goals, strategic weapons impact, nuclear command and control, multi-domain operations, and leadership development,” Fort said.

For the second year in a row, the 2nd Bomb Wing at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, won the Fairchild Trophy for best bomb wing, while the 341st Missile Wing at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana, won the Blanchard Trophy for best ICBM wing.
The Bourland Trophy for best helicopter squadron was given to the 54th Helicopter Squadron, Minot AFB, North Dakota; the Charlie Fire Team Trophy for best security forces was given to the 341st Missile Wing, Malmstrom AFB; and the Ellis Giant Sword Trophy for best bomber maintenance was given to the 28th Bomb Wing, Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota.
The 341st Missile Wing at Malmstrom AFB, Montana, received the Doolittle Trophy for innovation excellence, previously known as the Innovation Trophy, for the first time. This trophy honors the base’s innovation efforts and commitment to being successful in the twenty-first century.
The Barksdale Trophy was donated by the communities of Shreveport and Bossier to Minot, North Dakota, which is home to Minot Air Force Base. The Barksdale Trophy is given to the group that best supports a Global Strike Command wing of the Air Force.
