The HTC 10 is not only a new flagship smartphone, but it’s also a near-complete redesign, fresh from the company’s Taiwanese development laboratories. First impressions are important, and so far, they’ve been positive. They also lost the “M.” I’m one of those people who gets excited about requirements, so let’s get started.
The NFC/Bluetooth/GPS/GLONASS/802.11ac Wi-Fi radio is joined by the standard NFC/Bluetooth/GPS/GLONASS/802.11ac Wi-Fi radio setup. Internal storage is limited to 32GB (or 64GB), with microSD card expansion up to 2TB and adaptive storage support (storing apps on the card).
The HTC 10 uses what HTC refers to as “Ultra Pixel 2” for imaging. It means 1.55 micron pixels for a total of 12 megapixels with 4K video capture at f/1.8 and OIS (optical image stabilization). Laser-assisted autofocus is available on both the back and front cameras.
The HTC 10 has a 3,000mAh battery that the company says will last 48 hours for “everyday use” — but that number is debatable, as I’ll address in the analysis. There is no wireless charging but there is USB C, which is perfect by most standards.

The HTC 10 is available in two models, each with a different Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, to meet the needs of different markets. The Snapdragon 820 processor will be included in the HTC 10 in the United States, but all other features, such as design, audio, camera, and display, will remain unchanged.
HTC’s website also allows you to pre-order an unlocked HTC 10. The unlocked HTC 10 will be available in early May for $699. Glacier Silver and Carbon Grey are two paint choices. You also get free UH OH Security, which covers water damage and provides you with a free HTC 10 replacement if your screen cracks within the first 12 months.

Htc vive announces vive pro pre-order is now available

HTC’s most anticipated smartphone of the year is about to be released and is now available for pre-order on 11Street. It’s none other than the HTC 10, which is being billed as HTC’s best smartphone to date. In Malaysia, Dynamics Distribution Sdn. Bhd. carries this smartphone, which is officially priced at RM2799 inclusive of GST. You’ll also be eligible for a free ICE VIEW CASE (worth RM159), which is the HTC 10’s official smart flip case.
HTC’s flagship smartphone features a 2K display, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card slot. The HTC 10 has a 5.2-inch Super LCD5 monitor that is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This flagship smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor, with Adreno 530 for graphics.
The HTC 10 is the first smartphone with an optical image stabilization (OIS) front camera. The front camera is a 5MP f1.8 lens, while the main camera is a 12MP f1.8 lens with OIS, Laser Auto Focus, and Dual LED flash. The battery is non-removable and has a capacity of 3000mAh. It does, however, endorse Fast Charge 3.0, which charges the phone from 0% to 100% in 30 minutes. Aside from that, it supports 4G LTE, has a Nano SIM slot, a complete aluminum unibody, and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with HTC Sense 8.

In addition, the phone’s Carbon Grey and Glacial Silver versions will be available in Australian shops, with the exception of Optus and Virgin Mobile, which will only sell Glacial Silver. Both are appealing options!
The phone’s RRP, like that of many other 2016 flagships, is very high. If you want an HTC 10 and are pleased with your current carrier, consider signing up for a new contract. You may be able to get the phone at a large discount, as carriers’ handset repayments rarely exceed the retail price of a phone these days.
According to HTC’s press release, Telstra’s Go Mobile $95 package includes 6GB of data a month, plus $2 per month for phone repayments. That’s a two-year deal, as you would expect. There isn’t a specific pre-order page yet, but Telstra’s general purpose page is open. A checkbox on the Keep Informed page indicates that you are interested in HTC phones. Both Carbon Grey and Glacial Silver will be available from Telstra.
Virgin was the first to announce its pricing yesterday, beating anyone else. On a $70 contract, the phone will cost you an additional $7/month in handset repayments, and you’ll get 6GB of storage plus an online 1GB bonus. Glacial Silver is the only choice.
