Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors used his voice for something actually interesting a week after putting his foot in his mouth over the issue of gender discrimination between men and women athletes. Green revealed what he told Durant in that popular meme of the forward hyping up his then-Golden State teammate on Kevin Durant’s podcast “The ETCs with Kevin Durant.” This is the meme in question, for the uninitiated:
This was all part of a discussion about Green and Durant’s time together on the Warriors. The two spoke about their on-court squabbles, how they’ve moved on from any past grudges, how much fun those Warriors teams were, and the unspecified stuff going on behind the scenes that David West cryptically discussed after the 2018 championship.

“OK boomer” is a catchphrase and hashtag used among teenagers and young adults to disregard or ridicule behaviors associated with those born in the two decades following World War II, referred to as baby boomers. However, regardless of when they were born, it is increasingly being used to refer to pre-millennial people in general. The term gained popularity after a TikTok video in November 2019 in response to an older man, though it was actually coined years before that.
The term has evolved into a retort for alleged resistance to technological change, climate change denial, marginalization of members of marginalized groups, or hostility to the values of younger generations. It is considered ageist by others.
[three] The term has also been used to market products commercially, and several trademark applications have been filed for it. [number four]
“OK boomer” gained popularity in response to an anonymous older man’s TikTok video in which he said that “millennials and Generation Z have the Peter Pan syndrome […] they don’t want to grow up [and] they assume that the utopian ideals that they had as children would somehow translate into adulthood.” The video gave rise to the term “OK boomer,” which refers to a rejection of previous generations’ values. The term “OK boomer” was first mentioned in a Reddit comment on January 29, 2009, a decade before it became mainstream. The term’s most recent use dates from 2015 on 4chan, but it only became common in January 2019. [eight]

“K Den,” short for “OK then,” is an Internet slang term that can communicate either mild affirmation or indifference toward another person’s behavior or comment, in the same way that the word “I’m Okay With This” can. The expression is usually brought up in online discussions in the form of a reaction picture focused on a selfie of a young man wearing an ambivalent facial expression.
Redditor Daryl Dixon FTW posted an animated GIF named “K den” to the /r/dayz subreddit on July 2nd, featuring a glitched player floating in the air in the open world survival game DayZ. (shown below).

Giving a friend any advice but not wanting to be kept responsible if they take it and screw up their life any more? Put a “but idk” at the end of the sentence as a warning that your words of wisdom should be taken with a grain of salt. Telling someone your deepest, darkest, most personal secrets, but it sounds a little too intense, doesn’t it? Add a “lol” or “lmao” to the end of those, because you’re joking and all the emotional trauma you’ve been through for years isn’t a big deal to you. You’re great, and we’re all fine.
However, text communication is a dialect that is still — relatively — in its infancy, which can lead to a lot of misunderstanding. Linguist Gretchen McCulloch says that generational differences will affect how we submit and interpret texts in an interview with Vox on whether the internet is killing language (it isn’t).
“A consumer from [one] generation, for example, may use periods at the end of every sentence. This may be interpreted as passive violence by those of a different age. You are free to write as you wish, but we must communicate about the means by which you are expressing yourself in order to prevent communication problems and misinterpretations.”
