Broad ripple party bus — now “indy party train”

This is an incredible place. I just came in for a few minutes with my mom, but the atmosphere was fantastic. The guy behind the counter exuded positivity and even complimented my shirt. The pipe room resembled a candy store for adults. You could tell they only sold high-quality glass right away, which was refreshing after seeing so many $40 knock-offs in other shops. 5 out of 5
This is Indy’s oldest glass store, with a diverse collection of local and nationally recognized glass work exhibited in several cases. The shop employees are all friendly and have a good sense of humor. There are other shops in the town, but who wants to buy a fake roor in the first place?
Since online retailers have lower overhead, they can pass those savings on to their customers! Smoke Cartel is a fantastic place to go for great items and your favorite brands of glass, vaporizers, rolling papers, and everything else a headshop has to offer!

The Butler Arts Center has been providing all-ages audiences with curriculum-based, culturally diverse, publicly open, and age-appropriate performances and services since 1991. Live shows and activities include a range of learning styles and methods to audiences, presenting and introducing students to various art forms (dance, music, theatre, visual arts, and media). Our goal at the Butler Arts Center is to provide a meaningful artistic experience through live performance, educating while entertaining.
A day at a concert hall or theatre is not the same as attending a performance or program. Seeing it LIVE opens up new perspectives on our lives and the environment. We are inspired to look at and interact with the characters and environment when a story or book is brought to life on stage. Live science experiments and historical re-enactments help audiences link action and visuals to a deeper understanding of the material. Making daunting subjects more open and real by bringing literature and school curriculum to life in front of students. We are encouraged to dream, develop, invent, and unite when we attend a live performance because we share a common experience and link with others.

The Irvington Development Organization is sponsoring a series of activities called the “Magic #8 Bus” in collaboration with IndyGo and others. These activities are geared toward providing family-friendly, low-cost outings to cultural, arts, and sporting events. The Indianapolis Zoo, which includes the extremely cool Simon Skjodt International Orangutan Center, is our next gathering.
We will be giving away 5 free entry tickets thanks to the good people at the Zoo.
AND, as if that weren’t enough, Foundation East will be giving away ten free Skyline rides at the Orangutan Center!
On Saturday, June 28th, you’ll board the Magic #8 at 1 p.m. with other Eastsiders along E. Washington Street for a trip to our beautiful downtown Zoo, where you’ll meet all of the animals – including our newest kids on the block, the orangutans – before returning home about 5 p.m. It’s the ideal way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
The #8 IndyGo bus that travels along E. Washington Street is referred to as Magic #8. Taking the IndyGo #8 bus to events with your friends is a fun, accessible, and unique way to get you on the bus. We’d like to see more families from Irvington, Englewood, Holy Cross, and other Eastside communities take advantage of this amenity to visit downtown Indianapolis. You won’t have to deal with traffic or parking, so sit back and enjoy the trip.
