The World Bank Group is a unique global partnership: five organisations looking for sustainable solutions to alleviate poverty and create mutual prosperity in developing countries, with 189 member countries, workers from over 170 countries, and offices in over 130 locations.
The World Bank Group is a major source of support and expertise for developing countries around the world. Its five institutions are united in their commitment to alleviate poverty, increase mutual prosperity, and promote long-term growth.
IBRD and IDA work together to create the World Bank, which provides developing-country governments with funding, policy guidance, and technical assistance. IBRD supports middle-income and creditworthy poorer nations, while IDA focuses on the world’s poorest countries.
The IFC, MIGA, and ICSID all work to help developed countries improve their private sector.
The World Bank Group provides private companies, including financial institutions, with funding, technical assistance, political risk insurance, and dispute resolution through these institutions.

The One World Program teaches fundamental skills – every phase of the writing process – in the fall, but it also expands students’ awareness and analytical thinking while bringing out their natural brilliance and ability.
We offer a personalized version of the One World Program with topics tailored specifically to the needs of older students. The One World Program is currently used by all of DC’s main adult learning centers.
