PayPal Holdings, Inc. is an American organization that operates an online payments system in the majority of countries that allow online money transfers. It acts as an electronic alternative to conventional paper methods such as checks and money orders. The business serves as a payment processor for online retailers, auction sites, and a variety of other businesses. It charges a monthly fee in return for features like one-click purchases and password storage.
PayPal was established in 1998 as Confinity, and its initial public offering took place in 2002. Later that year, it was acquired by eBay as a wholly owned subsidiary valued at $1.5 billion. [nine] In 2015, eBay split up PayPal and gave it to its shareholders. (5) [nine]
Max Levchin, Peter Thiel, and Luke Nosek formed PayPal in December 1998 as Confinity, a company that developed security software for handheld devices. However, the business model did not work out, so it changed its focus to a digital wallet. (12) In 1999, the first version of PayPal’s electronic payment system was released. (#13)
Paypal will not protect you as a buyer aka paypal
So, what are your options? Don’t fall for the ruse. The connection will take you to a website that looks like PayPal but isn’t. Any data you provide will be obtained by the phony buyer and will be used to commit fraud. If you need to build a PayPal account, go to PayPal.com.
“Check your email!” says the second example. The buyer claims to have sent additional funds to your PayPal account so you can send the goods as soon as possible, but he accidentally sent too much money. He demands that you use a money wire service to refund the excess funds. All is a lie, including the extra cash the buyer claims to have included.
So, what are your options? Go to your PayPal account and sign in. Before you ship, double-check that you’ve been billed. Never click on a connection in an email from someone you don’t know. The most reliable way is to open a browser window, go to PayPal.com, and log in. Often, if the buyer appears to have submitted additional funds and demands a refund, this is a huge red flag.
Scenario three: The buyer sends you real money through PayPal, and you ship the car to him. The only thing is that the PayPal account isn’t yours! Even if the scammer has your wheels, you will need to return the money.

Cross trades can be tricky, but in general, the person with the least amount of input (in this case, Heatware) ships first. When the first package’s tracking information indicates that it is on its way, the other party can ship as soon as possible (I like to keep that within 24hrs- although you should make it clear what amount of time you think is reasonable before you ship).
Since you are not submitting a payment, it appears that Paypal will not be used. Since you’re doing a real trade, you can either submit the things all at once or have someone ship first, normally the person with the lowest heat. I shipped first the last time I did an even swap, and the other shipped the next day. When shipping, make sure you get a delivery confirmation or equivalent; insurance is available but recommended.
Since the individual has a lot of heat, it’s unlikely that they’ll try to con you. However, as theonedub’s connection pointed out, get personal information, which you’ll need to send them the products anyway. The more information you have, the more prepared you would be if anything bad happens.
