Plan b – concert viernes 14 de noviembre choliseo de pr

Could anyone please assist me in developing a backup plan? In October, we’ll be camping on Vieques and Culebra, and I’m thinking it’d be a good idea to have a backup plan. Is there normally enough notice to safely leave the island, or are there usually enough hotels with vacancies that you can only walk into at that time of year? Sorry, but this Midwesterner knows little about tropical storms…except that she will not be sleeping in a tent during one!
Hello, having a backup plan while camping in the tropics during hurricane season is definitely a smart idea. The places in V and C may have openings, but it’s a good idea to contact them now and get their opinions, as they’re the ones who know best if they’ll stay open in general during storms..have electricity and/or water service, and so on. There is usually plenty of notice to leave the island, and particular attention is given to visitors and tourists when it comes to ferries. The ferry service normally closes a day or two before the forecast worst of the storms, giving you plenty of time to board. We recently hosted a couple from Italy who stayed in our guesthouse for several days while waiting for the ferries to reopen so they could return to Vieques after the storm passed and the ferries resumed service. You’ll be fine, but getting advice from local guesthouses on the smaller islands now is a good idea.
