Root cause analysis (RCA) is a problem-solving approach used in science and engineering to determine the root causes of faults or problems.
1st It is commonly used in IT operations, telecommunications, industrial process management, accident investigation (e.g., in aviation, rail transport, or nuclear power plants), medicine (for medical diagnosis), the healthcare industry (e.g., epidemiology), and other fields.
In most cases, RCA is used as part of a remediation procedure, in which corrective action is taken to prevent the issue from recurring. The name of this method varies depending on the application domain. The techniques Five whys, Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), Fault tree analysis, Ishikawa diagram, and Pareto analysis can be used in RCA, according to ISO/IEC 31010.
To act as a food storage organ, the taproot of the sugar beet (Beta vulgaris L.) goes through a complex developmental phase. The isolation of cDNA fragments for taproot expressed genes was done using Suppression Subtractive Hybridization (SSH). These genes contain homologues of a drought-inducible linker histone, a homologue of a major latex-like protein, a phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase kinase, a putative vacuolar processing enzyme, a thaumatin-like protein, and an alanine- and glutamic acid-rich protein, according to the isolation and molecular analysis of six cDNAs encoding the complete gene product. In taproots, all genes are transcribed, while transcription in leaves is poor or non-existent.

An significant investigation problem in plant breeding is the effective and rigorous statistical analysis of the form of plant organs of different cultivars, which allows for a robust cultivar definition during the breeding process. Laserscanning is a technique for obtaining the 3D shape of plant surfaces that is highly precise and high resolution. The computation of a shape-based principal component analysis (PCA) based on continuum mechanics principles has proved to be a useful method for both qualitative and quantitative shape analysis. Conclusions A statistical study of 140 sugar beet roots of various cultivars was conducted using shape-based PCA. It was possible to calculate the average sugar beet root shape and describe the major variations. Furthermore, using a comprehensive classification tool based on PCA data, unknown and individual tap roots could be assigned to their cultivar. final thoughts The method demonstrates that out of laserscanned 3D sugar beet tap root models, it is possible to automatically distinguish principal modes of root form variations and measure related variances. The proposed method is not limited to laser scanning for 3D shape description. It’s also possible to migrate data from 3D MRI or radar.
