The Collin County Coin Club was founded in April 1987, and the Texas Numismatic Association granted it charter in August of that year. We are also members of the American Numismatic Association, which has over 40 active members who collect coins, currency, and exonumia from the United States and around the world.
The club meets on the third Thursday of each month to exchange stories, hear educational presentations, and participate in a mini-auction to buy and sell coins and related items. Our meetings, festivals, and shows are always open to visitors and guests. We really look forward to meeting new people who share our interests.
The Club also hosts two coin shows each year, one in the spring and one in the fall. Every year, the club hosts coin shows in April and October. For more detail, see our Club Events section.

The Tyler Coin Club was established to bring East Texas collectors together who share a passion for the wonderful hobby of numismatics. The club’s membership is diverse, ranging from beginners to experts with a variety of collecting interests, including coins, tokens, medals, and paper money.
Once a month, the club meets to discuss latest numismatic news and activities, as well as member show-and-tell and a limited member auction. Our gatherings are casual so that our members and guests can unwind and appreciate our shared interests.
We welcome you to attend as many meetings as you want as a guest, but we strongly encourage you to become a member. Dues are just $20 a year, and membership includes a weekly newsletter, complete participation in monthly auctions, and other perks. To bid on auction pieces, you do not need to be a participant.

South Padre Island is part of the Hidalgo, Starr, Willacy, Cameron, Kenedy, Brooks, Jim Hogg, Zapata, Duval, and Webb counties. Every 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00pm, our monthly club meetings are held in McAllen, Texas, dubbed “the City of Palms.” In 2018, all monthly meetings will be held.
Our club swells with the influx of our coin collecting friends who move from several northern states to avoid the cold winters during the first five months of the year (November-March). They are affectionately known as Winter Texans because they make the valley their home for that period of time.
